Whoosher House & Grounds

Scrappy:

As for the descriptions of the house here goes (what I've described):

Outside:

Three stories. Gabled roof with gargoyles. A large wooden front door with an ornate doorknocker.

Library:

The walls were lined with shelves containing hundreds of books. Only the best leather bound collections, first editions, antique and rare copies. Set up in front of another bookcase sat a long mahogany table. In the middle of the room are a couple of overstuffed chairs and a low coffee table.

I'm hoping this is what you were asking for Jox. Everyone is doing a great job by the way. I'm loving the story and the interaction is great!

Phalon:

The house from my point of entry; sea, beach, sandy bluff, house. Small stone cottage off to the side, on the way from the bluff to the house.

Front door - heavy, with an ornately carved iron handle which Freebird possesses the keys to. [sign in to see URL]'d she get those?

Entry into a grand foyer with a marble floor. Staircase is across the room.

Ballroom - Hhmm [sign in to see URL] quite sure where this should be. First floor? Second? I dunno. The only thing on my second floor is a few bedrooms, a bathroom and a very prolific colony of dust bunnies.

Yep, that's about all of the tour I've seen thus far.

House from my point of view: Scrappy made a good start...

And Phalon's already described my mental image of the entrance hall...

I reclon the library is on the left hand side as you come in the front door and I think the ballroom should be on the ground floor too, I'm a little hazy as to the [sign in to see URL] want to place it?

Then I think the stairs lead up to the bedrooms on the second floor which are ranged along a huge landing leading to the back stairs I've described, with the servants quarters, cellars, etc in the basement. I don't know about the third floor, don't think anyone's ventured up there yet but I did see a narrow set of stairs leading upwards. I expect there's a main staircase to the third floor from the second floor but I haven't seen it yet.

guru:

Guru's room is on the 3rd floor facing the water. I propose tall windows with long curtains in the bedrooms... unless someone needs small windows for the story. The walls and doors are thick enough to deaden sound, but hallways may carry the echoes of tormented souls from far far away...................
